Description:
Slow-growing, evergreen plant. Produces creamy-white flowers followed by editable fruits which slowly turn black in the autumn.
General Care :
Water well in summer but sparingly during the winter months.
Pruning:
Trim/pinch out shoots during the summer months to retain the shape of foliage.
Soil:
Fertile yet allows easy drainage.
Position:
Sun or partial shade. Exposed or sheltered site. Pefers sheltered spot in full sunlight.
Hardy:
Yes Tolerant to light frosts and temperatures down to freezing. Winter protection may be required in prolonged cold snaps. Conservatory/greenhouse would be ideal when frosts are regular.
Flowering Period:
Summer, April-July.
